'iPhone Screen Repair in High Demand'iPhone screen repairs are in high demand. The most common type of iPhone repair is to replace the digitizer. The outer glass / touch screen is fairly fragile and a drop or knock can result in a broken iPhone screen.
The touch screen may continue to work but cracks will worsen and eventually you will need the screen replacing. Replacing the iPhone digitizer involves removing all the broken glass using a heat gun to loosen the adhesive. Once all the remains of the old screen have been removed we can fit the new one along with new adhesive pads to hold it in place. Your iPhone will be good as new in no time! This is the most common iPhone screen repair that we do.
More severe damage can cause the inner LCD screen of the iPhone to break. Colours or lines may appear on the screen or it may not display anything at all. With the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS the LCD and touch screen can be replaced as seperate parts meaning the cost of repair can be kept to a minimum. With the iPhone 2G however the digitizer and LCD are a sealed unit and must be replaced as one unit to complete the iPhone screen repair.
All iPhone screen repair work is conducted as a matter of priority as we know how much they are missed while away for repair. Once we have finished with the iPhone screen repair, either LCD, digitizer or both screens it will be returned to you by Special Delivery.
